This is the BEGINNER playlist for long and short consonant R sounds. It covers 2 phonemes (R, r) and 3 graphemes (R, r, ar) with the keywords being Red and Car! We have carefully curated the videos here to help students learn the sounds and spellings of these words, and the videos get harder as they go on. We have also included the famous Red Riding Hood Story (two different versions: a more childish version if the Looney Tunes version is too scary - but the Looney Tunes version is superior and kids love it in my experience! Oh and it features a return of the Three Little Pigs from P lesson!), a Danny Go! Rabbit Turtle Rodeo (a fast and slow game and riff on the classic Tortoise and the Hare), rabbit and car songs, a Lightning McQueen clip (he is a red car!) and writing guides!
