This is the BEGINNER playlist for long and short consonant P sounds. It covers 2 phonemes (P, p) and 2 graphemes (P, p) with the keyword being Pig! We have carefully curated the videos here to help students learn the sounds and spellings of these words, and the videos get harder as they go on. We have also included the famous Three Little Pigs Story, a Danny Go! Pigs are loose the floor is lava game, and writing guides! Some younger students might find the wolf a little scary in the Three Little Pigs, so know your students, but, in my experience, most students absolutely LOVE the Looney Tunes classic, and learn to laugh at the fear and tension on display. Indeed, dealing with fear through laughter (arguably the original evolutionary purpose of laughter!) is excellent development for their self-confidence and problem-solving skills, so don't shy from exposing the students to a little light fright (but also don't force students to deal with it if they really aren't ready yet - I did have one little girl once in a class who found almost any cartoon, like, even Old McDonald Had a Farm, scary, and would just shake her head, cry, hide and say, 'No! No! No!' so I just couldn't show this to her).
