Phonics being taught here are I, and i sounds, and 11 different graphemes and keywords!. We have carefully curated the videos here to help students learn the sounds and spellings of these words, and the videos get harder as they go on. We have the Eye Spy game, a song about Day and Night, the women of Black Pink singing Ice Cream and a kids dance for the same song. We have a funny guitar song, a Pumpkin Pie song, songs about buying things, the five senses, what you like to do, the famous Do you like Broccoli Ice Cream, and the second part of Superted and the Magic Word. We could not find songs for gym and sieve, unsurprisingly! Once again, the i before e rule is in play, as well as magic e, but we are not going to explicity teach magic e until a later lesson after we have covered more vowels!
